My seamoth was destroyed once at the entrance to the lost river by the juvenile ghost leviathan there. I ran away to a tiny base I made in the blood kelp forest. There are no leviathans but still being stuck 500m deep with no sub was pretty terrifying. Fortunately you can easily swim back with a big tank and seaglide. Alternatively you can use f1 to get your position and then the warp command to warp below the terrain line and swim to your seamoth. As long as you aren't in "standing" function when you teleport you should be able to swim freely to your seamoth and drive it out into open water very easily.Open the console, do item 514 then use that (terraformer) to dig it back out. (I believe you use Shift-click to dig with the Terraformer. The same bug happen if you enter a docked seamoth that is inside your Cyclops; the seamoth go in the ground and its very difficult to unstuck it. Adult Ghost Leviathans, thankfully, are quite few in number. They can be found in two biomes within the Crater, with two in the Grand Reef and one in the Northwest Blood Kelp Zone. Like the Reapers, Ghosts can be relocated if they chase you into a different biome, though they should make their way home eventually.The trick is to use the propulsion cannon, grab a crate and just slowly walk toward it. Here we have a beautiful landmoth in its natural habitat. We see it now trying to get some fresh water. They are a skittish creature and will run away if spooked. The landmoth was once called the seamoth, but it has evolved into being able to freely move on land.
