Artificial Desert Biome farm not working. I'm having issues making an artificial desert biome for a mob farm. I've followed the Wiki and any other threads I could find but no answers. I've placed more than 2000 blocks of sand/sandstone/Hardened sandstone. I then tried placing sandstone walls in my safe zone, but still wasn't working.. 1993 wide am penny

Antlions only need a regular sand surface to spawn. The biome you create should be the one that increases your spawn rate the most, hence the suggestion to create a jungle biome.
